It's a small shrine.
Original Text
I found it when I was walking around Sano Station on a sightseeing tour of Sano City. It is a rare shrine dedicated to the God of casting. The shrine is a small shrine, so I visited and read the commentary board and went home 〇
It is said that you will leave Kannonji Temple and go on the narrow road on the right and enter the alley on the left immediately. Or, when you leave Kannonji Temple and turn right at the intersection with a signal, there is a display board ahead, and turn right and you will see it in front of the left. As the name of the shrine suggests, the god of gold is enshrined, and it seems to be effective for the luck of money, marriage, and demon removal. It was founded in the middle of the Edo period, and is called "Kanegami-sama", and it is said that it has gathered a strong faith of casters and local residents. There was a printed matter in front of the entrance of the shrine. The torii is cast, and the shrine is big ...
It may be a little difficult to find because it is in the back of the alley of a residential area. In terms of location, it is on the east side of the super famous Sano Evil Prevention Daishi. Except for the New Year's evil-free season, it's a quiet area, not particularly a tourist spot, but it may be a good place to go for a leisurely stroll and eat Sano ramen and fried potatoes.
Without the torii gate in front of the hall of worship, it looks like you have forgotten your existence as a shrine, and you will feel somehow lonely. Even so, at this shrine, you can see beautiful sculptures like works of art on the door. Even though the scale was small, it was as wonderful as the Shibamata Taishakuten Sculpture Gallery.
A shrine where only the hall of worship stands quietly

Sano City is known as the town of Tenmei casting. Kanayama Shrine was gathering the faith of such casters. Nowadays, only half of the buildings used in the meeting hall remain, but if you look closely, there were wonderful sculptures. It seems to be very grand during the festival.
