Lovely Byzantine birch attached to the remans of a monastery. Lovely outside, wonderful floor mosaics.
About 20-30 mins by car from Rossano. Up in the hills surrounded by forest. serene and peaceful. No one there. Free entry. The floor mosaics are less sophisticated than say Palermo but captivating.
