The temple complex in the province of tong, Cambodia, was built in the sixth century, 600 years earlier than Angkor Wat Siem Reap. It was the only complex in Asia that could be carved on bricks. It stood after more than 300 shells bombed in 1400 years and modern wars. A total of 293 temples were built. The landmark is the 300-year-old tree root circle of the temple.
