Lovely monastery church - datk and cool and with an intriguing model of the nativity at the West end - enough to keep a youngster occupied and interested.

You have the impression that this is a simple local church, still tending to the needs of locals, which is nice for the community and the religious orders that can seem to lack relevance these days.
Both inside and out it is very austere. It does contain fragments of 14th century frescos depicting St. Francis's life. It's worth a visit and it's free.
