    Pre-war

It is a slightly larger shrine along the road. I felt a little lonely probably because of the off-season. It is not an eligible facility for Ono City Tourism Passport, but you can stop by for free, so it is a good idea to visit quietly before sightseeing.

An old shrine near Echizen Ono station

    Original Text

If you walk from Echizen-Ohno Station and walk toward Echizen-Ohno Castle, you will find it on the road. There is a shrine in a small forest. Originally there was a castle in this area. The excavation around the shrine is a remnant of the castle. According to the history book, it was built in the Kamakura period and has a history older than Echizen Ono Castle.
