It is a national important cultural property in a shrine where Minamoto no Noriyari prayed for victory in subjugation of the Heike and enshrined the spirit of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu in Kamakura after the victory. The JR Tokaido Main Line crosses the approach and there is a railroad crossing. The building is small, but it is venerable and somewhat elegant. In the precincts, there is a "groaning stone" that groans on the night when it seems to rain. It was just crowded with Shichigosan pilgrimage, but it was still a calm and nice atmosphere.

Founded by Minamoto no Noriyari at a shrine of 100 best Okazaki tourism cultures. When Noriyari headed for the pursuit and destruction of the Heike, he stayed at a house of a powerful family nearby. Pray for the longevity of the fortune of the Hachimansha in the mansion and hunt down and kill the Heike. After that, he became the guardian of Mikawa and built Hachimangu here with a sense of gratitude. It happened that the cherry trees in the precincts were in full bloom.
