The entire park is huge, we spent around half an hour for a round at the park! It is indeed such a relaxing and tranquil spot for a break from the hustling bustling Penang city. The park is filled with lush greeneries and well maintained in the form of walking trail, plants. There are many benches for visitors to rest as well! There are a few spacious areas in the park where visitors can play badminton, have a little picnic. This park is also a great photoshoot area for tourists! I wish to travel to Hong Kong for the food!

Penang Botanic Gardens is a very nice park like place for recreation activities including jogging, hiking, yoga and many more. Its fill with varieties of flora and fauna in Penang. The gardens is well maintained and have beautiful heritage trees. It is a much needed green lung in Penang for the public to enjoy. Parking is usually limited especially during the weekends. There is even a hiking trail that is connected to Penang Hill. There are plenty of monkeys and dogs as well. #penang

Those who love fresh air and want to get closer to tropical nature of Penang will love this Botanical Garden. It is a free public park where locals come to relax and play sports. Throughout the park there are many benches and gazebos where visitors can stop for a rest. The park has plenty of wildlife to see. The most common of which are Long-tailed Macaques, Giant Black Squirrels and the very cute Dusky Leaf Monkey. I love this Botanical Gardens. All natural environment where monkeys and humans co-exist harmoniously. A great location to watch locals exercise and have family time. A wonderful community locations for foreigners to enjoy nature and the best of people. Pretty landscape with hills in the background. It was a good relaxing time in Penang. Great green space, wild monkeys. They were mischievous, be careful when eating foods in the distance that they can see you! They approched me and my friends really close in order to take the food. To me, this is a must visit if you love nature! It is well maintained, and you can spend the whole day in this area as it is huge! With a long history from 1884, you'll be able to enjoy a lush greenery and gorgeous landscaping done by the team at the botanical gardens. Many people head over for some aerobics too, you can join the elder folks as they are very friendly! We usually love spending our time here jogging for about an hour and then have our breakfast at the Waterfall Cafe. Nothing beats a delicious roti canai and teh tarik after an exercise session! Be careful not to swing your bag freely or eat out in the open, the monkeys will turn on you and try to steal from you at any chance given!
