City Parks
Jennifer Grunstad
Very beautiful, probably the most beautiful park in Oklahoma. Just dont go on a Sunday, to many photographers on Sundays. Doing wedding pictures, couple pictures, new baby pictures, cap and gown pictures, baby bump pictures. You get the point, they take over on Sundays and you can't enjoy the park as much. Not sure where this website got that old ayone building picture, that's not at this park. There's some buildings like that at turner falls

City Parks
天硕Timothy
After leaving State Capitol, we came to the "Scissortail Park" at the southern end of the city to visit. This is a city park that has just been built in 2019. Scissortail translated into Chinese is a bird's name, called "Forktail Baxuan", so this can be called "Forktail Baxuan Park". Although there is no official Chinese name for translation, the facilities are mostly brand new and ideal for many citizens to spend their leisure time. The Forktail Bajon Bridge, which spans the interstate, was built in April 2012 and is now renovated. It is the state bird of Oklahoma, and this is perhaps why the park is so named. The skyline of Oklahoma City under the clear sky is unobstructed in the park and makes people feel very relaxed and comfortable. We thought that Oklahoma City might only have the Cowboy Museum worth visiting deeply, and other attractions may be boring, but Scissortail Park really made us feel amazing. It is not the most important thing to be famous in history. Or the current excellent design and good maintenance for passengers is the most attractive quality of a scenic spot. As soon as I entered the park, I was attracted by the color of the lake and blue sky. Meanwhile, there is a more representative skyline of Oklahoma City, unobstructed by the grass and waters that are not too much of a sight. I didn't say anything, so I stood here to take pictures. This pure blue sky is worth collecting. This photo has no filters, and the original film is provided. [Oklahoma City Union Station Former Site] Looking across the lake, the red roof building in front of the camera is Oklahoma City Union Station, which is Oklahoma City Union Station. This is no longer a train station, but an ordinary office building. On the other side of the lake, far away is the Oklahoma City Convention Center, which looks like a lot of domestic architecture students' quick-project design homework, and the body is simple and clear. Looking north, the downtown skyline of Oklahoma City is in sight, and the Devon Building is towering in size and has a heavy weight throughout the Oklahoma City skyline. [Fork tail Baxuan Bridge] Looking south, you can see the Scissortail Bridge spanning the I-40 Interstate Expressway. This pedestrian bridge symbolizing the state bird "Fork tail Baxuan" is so unique. [Enjoy the Oklahoma City Skyline] I stood by the lake and happily took a photo with the Oklahoma City skyline, and we didn't have a very tight schedule in Oklahoma City this afternoon. I also feel very colorful, leisure and cozy with this spring afternoon sun, really thank God for the beautiful day of the portrayal. [Focus on Devon Energy Center] I took the German Building again with vertical composition here, the German Building is also called the German Energy Center (Devon Energy Center), this building is concise and clear, designed by architect Pickard Chilton, broke the ground in 2009 and built in 2012. The height of 257m makes it the tallest building in Oklahoma City, and no other building has surpassed the tower since 2011. [Staggered landscape layout] Lawn and ponds are uneven, scattered, and the east is a straight avenue, which is also a new pedestrian path. The lamppost is made of metal, golden, and connects to the Oklahoma City Convention Center and the Forktail Baxu Bridge. There is a deep sense of presence here. Walking up the Forktail Baxuan Bridge, you can enjoy the exquisite design of the bridge up close, and visitors have also stepped on the bridge, but the bridge has not led to the south area of Forktail Baxuan Park after the end, because the south area has not been built yet, or blocked. Several close-up shots of the fork tail Baxuan bridge, stainless steel row of falling tiles symbolize the fork tail Baxuan flying feathers. I stood on the Forktail Baxu Bridge to take a picture, and my feet were Interstate 40, which was almost parallel to the historical Route 66, but this specific location is not the historical location that US Route 66 has ever walked. Walking down the bridge, I continued northward and saw a fountain sculpture that was a good way to cool off in summer. We were hungry, bought Taco in the park diner, this is almost the best taco I have ever eaten in the United States, the taco has pork and chicken two flavors, I recommend pork taste, with Diet Coke is a simple meal in the park seat. The aroma of the barbecue on Taco reminds me of the amazing barbecue taco I had at the Guanajuato roadside stall last year. Continue north, we walked to the entrance of the Oklahoma City Convention Center, felt the volume of this large public building, and we continued north to the Thunder team's home tour. [Pushpin] Detailed address: 655 S Robinson Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73109 [6:00] Opening hours: Monday to Sunday 06:00 –23:00 [Pyrse] Per capita consumption: Free [Seeding] Recommended reason: The brand new leisure park just completed in 2019, full of landscape design, the best place to shoot the Oklahoma City skyline. <ctag id="33281" type="4" businesstype="1"># Surrounding tours are safe and good places to go </ctag> <ctag id="144878" type="4" businesstype="1"># New opening method of the city</ctag>
