Built between 1670 and 1684, the first church in the Bahamas was destroyed and rebuilt many times until it stood in 1724. It was rebuilt again in 1740 and later expanded to become a cathedral. The tall stained glass windows were custom made in France and the granite floors were from Italy. We had not opened the door when we went, and a staff member specially opened the door in advance to welcome us to visit. The church was silent, and the colored windows depicted the crucifixion of Christ left reflections on the ground.

The historic Catholic Church in the Bahamas, the buildings are magnificent, and a sacred church is filled with people praying every day. The ceilings inside the church are high, white pillars and colorful crosses on the walls are worth watching.
A large church in the center of Nassau down town in the Bahamas, is also the first church in the Bahamas. It was built in the 17th century. I didn’t come here specially. It is 5 meters next to the famous Bahamian Pirate Museum. I went to the museum and saw it. There are many restaurants, bars and coffee shops nearby. If you come to down town for a walk you will see here. Free to visit.
Very nice church, very spectacular, full of praise, an experience, and a very happy experience. I can feel that the building here is great and the interior decoration is also very good.
The simple church near the Pirate Museum in the Bahamas is a good place to go and see, the colored windows are beautiful.
