    Okusu in the precinct

    Original Text

It is near the tram stop and shopping street. After going to the site of the Mitsubishi Weapons Sumiyoshi Tunnel Factory, I went around here, so I just went down the stairs on the approach, but the stairs were reasonably steep. If you read the origin, it is a shrine with a long history. There is Okusu in the precincts.

Live Jidian stop near くに Town Block

    Original Text

3 minutes walk from the tram "Sumiyoshi" tram stop. There is a precinct on the stone steps through the arcade of the shopping street. Founded in 1634. The deities are Sumiyoshi Sanjin (Sotsutsuo no Mikoto, Nakatsutsuo no Mikoto, Omotesutsuo no Mikoto). The current shrine was rebuilt in 1991 and the worship hall is made of reinforced concrete. The pillars are painted in pastel colored light green. There is a large sacred tree of camphor trees in the precincts, and a pentagonal votive tablet was dedicated around it, so some people may worship for passing prayers.

Go through the arcade and climb the stairs.

    Original Text

I lived in Sumiyoshi Town when I was a student. I came to Chitope (Chitosepia), so I took a walk with nostalgia. If you go through the arcade from Sumiyoshi tram stop, you have to climb the long stairs. Sumiyoshi Shrine is not large.

    Founded older than Christianity

    Original Text

It is a historic shrine built in the 5th year of the Shoreki era (994 AD) during the 66th Emperor Ichijo era, and it seems that it declined during the height of Christianity, but it has a unique history that has been rebuilt, rebuilt and maintained. ..

    A magnificent shrine

    Original Text

It is a path for local residents, but many people bow to the shrine. It must be a shrine rooted in the area.
