Horrible hotel. TV did not work, no ice machine, toilet leaked, sink partially clogged. Office did not open until 8 AM.

We came a little late in season and only saw one manatee. We did enjoy our ride down the river with our kids (6 and 11) on double kayaks. We went to the left for a more natural look versus by powered ...
Fun
We rented kayaks to paddle around the river and hopefully see some manatees. Unfortunately didn't see any, but you generally have to be there in Jan or Feb to see them so we kind of expected that. But...

When is warm, the manatees most likely won’t be here
Parking is $2 a carload We visited on a 75 degree day and there were no manatees anywhere to be found. The trails are still beautiful and it allowed the kids to see some mangroves up close. You can ...
