Saint-Maire Castle

Saint-Meyer Castle is one of Sweden's ancient castles, located on the outskirts of Lausanne, with a deep history and very well-preserved art buildings, surrounded by rich plant resources, you need to take a tour bus to visit here.

The castle was originally built in1397-1427 as the residence of the Archbishop of Lausanne Cathedral, when the archbishop was born in northern Italy and called in his hometown's craftsmen to build it for him. After the Reformation, it became the official residence of the local administrator, and now it is the seat of the state parliament of the canton of Vaud, which is not open to the public.
