Amazing views
Saw it by boat first and decided to make the journey by foot along the paths, well worth it for the views along the way and when we got there!
Not open
The lighthouse is not open to the public so it is of little interest other than being a landmark on the Seven Hanging Valleys trail. A couple of algars nearby
Great hike from Carvoeiro
This is a great hike, it takes about an hour walking along the cliffs to reach this lighthouse, if you leave from the carpark at the end of the Carvoeiro boardwalk. The landscape is wild and dramatic,...
Cliff top walk....
A great walk, but beware some of the ‘paths’ are very uneven, steep and loose under foot. Fabulous views and a good way to spend a day...take plenty of water with you.
