It is Jinja Schlein along the Ibi River near Rokukaen. Built in 1715, the shrine was rebuilt in 2003. The view of the nearby Ibi River is quite good.

It seems that Sumiyoshi Shrine was built because it was in a port called Sumiyoshiura. It is next to the Ibi River and you can see the mouth weir of the Nagara River well.
A area that leaves the atmosphere of Kuwana in a dark color
A corner of Sumiyoshiura, which I walked from Kuwana Castle to Yoshinomaru Community Park, Tatsuryu Yagura, and the ruins of Shichiri. Sumiyoshiura, located at the mouth of the Ibi River, used to be a boat reservoir of shipping. I think this shrine, which prays for the safety of voyages, is one of the symbols of the area that retains the atmosphere of Kuwana.

Beautiful scenery
Sumiyoshi Shrine is about a 15-minute walk from Kuwana Station. Located near the mouth of the Ibi River, it is a rare shrine with a panoramic view of the beautiful river in front of you. It is said that the shipping company was solicited from Sumiyoshi Shrine in Osaka during the Edo period to pray for the safety of the voyage. It was relatively recently moved to its current location and was moved in 2003. It is also known as a very good place to see the water town fireworks in summer.
