A statue on the top of the curved slope across Nusamai Bridge. A statue of a person who is said to be the father of the Kushiro fishing industry who was active from the Meiji era to the Taisho era, and overlooks the city of Kushiro with binoculars from his neck. The snow was not removed in winter and I couldn't go to the statue.
After crossing Nusamai Bridge and going up the slope a little, a Shotoku monument stood near the Gyokei Monument. An explanation version in Chinese was attached to the back and it was written in 1945. The essential statue was facing the Kushiro River, but it was in a state where you could only see the side and back from the side road.
