"One hundred people on the railway tree"
After all, Takuboku Ishikawa attended the Karuta Kai in the main temple when he was a Kushiro Shimbun reporter. Perhaps because of that, it is called "Utarutaji". The current chief priest has devised "Kushiro Takuboku One Hundred Shu", which is not one hundred people, and completed a wooden tag karuta. Even so, it is a big temple. Standing in front of the mountain gate, you can see the main hall far away from the stone steps.
Uta Ji Temple related to Suzuki
Meiji ３１ It is a Jodo Shinshu Honganji school built in 1868 with Joei Ito as its founder. It seems that Takuboku Ishikawa participated in the Karuta Kai of Hongyoji Temple, and it is called "Utarutaji Temple" because of that. There is also the Ishikawa Takuboku Museum, which is a must-see temple for Takuboku fans.
