The place where the Bakufu was temporarily established
Original Text
It is located in a residential area east of the road next to the Kamakura Sculpture Museum along Wakamiya Oji, and is a shrine due to the fact that there was a mansion of Utsunomiya Asatsuna in this area. There is a stone monument of "Tsujiko Shogunate Ruins" in front of the shrine, but it is a monument that Yasutoki Hojo moved the Shogunate to this area in contact with the Utsunomiya family between 1225 and 1236. I feel the depth of Kamakura.
The third Regent Yasutoki Hojo moved the Shogunate here from Okura, where Yoritomo opened the Shogunate. Inari is enshrined nearby. It's just from Wakamiya Oji, but the air is different.
When you enter the side road of Kamakura Sculpture Hall, you will find this Utsunomiya Inari.

If you enter the side road of the Kamakura Sculpture Hall from Wakamiya Oji, you will find this Utsunomiya Inari. There used to be the Utsunomiya Tsujiko Shogunate, and the shrine was built and enshrined in a corner of the site.
Do you know "Utsunomiya Inari Shrine"? After visiting Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, walking along Wakamiya Oji was enshrined in a residential area in a corner of the site of the Utsunomiya Tsujiko Shogunate. There is only a small shrine in the back of the torii gate, the red Utsunomiya Inari Daimyojin ridge, but it seems that the site was divided after the Shogunate disappeared. Next to the torii gate was a large stone monument built by the Kamakura Town Youth Association in 1918.
Surrounded by vermilion ball walls, the flags set around it were written as Utsunomiya Inari Daimyojin. Tree 々 is a small shrine that stands out. There is a vermilion shrine in the precincts, and it seems that it is well managed and was cleaned. There is a stone monument called the Utsunomiya Tsuji Shogunate's ruins.
