It is definitely worth travelling almost two hours from Chongqing to Dazu Rock Carvings. I booked a tour to this site from a local travel agent in Chongqing. Dazu Rick Carvings is made up of five sites, but only cover two sites - Beishan and Baodingshan. The statues are exquisitely sculpted with distinctive style. Listed as the World Heritage List by UNESCO, this historical site a true masterpiece capturing the ancient inscriptions. It is a nice walk up the hill surrounded by trees. Reasons to Recommend: Edu-tour on Chinese history

Friends who like stone carvings can go and see it. There are not many people, but the stone carvings inside are more exquisite and worth a visit. Still on the edge of the Jialing River, the overall scenery is also good. When I went last time, there were staff doing cultural relics protection work.

This is a short trip to parent-child tour. Xiangxi Cave, AAA Scenic Area (free), located in the south of Ankang City, the city bus No. 8/12/21 to the Satisfied Building Materials Market, go 50 meters forward, and you will arrive at Xiangxi Cultural Square. This is a center of tea cultural exchange and trade, the square is antiques, calligraphy and painting, old books and other small markets, interested buyers and vendors bargain here, come and go, so not lively. Walking up the mountain road, you will see two roads, one asphalt asphalt road, and one fitness track "Fudao" (full length 1.5km). Our family of three walked up the mountain, passing the first Tianmen, two days, and finally arrived at the three-day gate, which is the entrance of the scenic spot. There is a large open space in front of the door for public parking (free). Standing here, you can cross the dense forest to see the Ankang City, and the view is still very good. Xiangxi Cave is a Taoist grotto, and Lu Dongbin, one of the eight immortals, is said to be feathered here. Since the Ming Dynasty, Xiangxi Cave has become the largest Taoist cultural activity center in southern Shaanxi. In spring, there is a pink thorn flower (Qilixiang) on the edge of the valley stream that emits a strong aroma, and Xiangxi Cave is also named for it. When I went to the golden autumn in August, I missed the fragrance of flowers, which is quite a pity. The regular attraction of Xiangxi Cave is Xiangxi Eight Caves. Enter the scenic spot, follow the main road, in turn Chunyang Cave, Yaowang Cave, Sanmao Cave, Liandan Furnace, Longwang Cave, Wenchang Cave, Baxian Cave, Cihang Cave, Chess Pavilion, Jiayun Bridge, etc. Next, we will take the ladder, a total of 136 steps, relatively steep, you can support the iron chain on one side, when you walk, the body should lean forward, the most important point, do not look back, will be soft legs. After walking through the ladder, you will arrive at the Yuhuang Pavilion and Sanqing Palace, and pass the Chinese Wanfuding and Bell and Drum Pavilion on the way. Follow some down the mountain to the south, you can go to the ancient spring eyes, Zhang Sanfeng ancestors' temple, drip cliffs, etc. (take some cultural well cover). Back to the old place where I just went to the ladder, this time I didn't go to the ladder, or along the side, we went to see the ancestor's cave, which is also the only one of the eight caves in Xiangxi distributed on the west side, and the last grotto we visited. Continue to go down, we came to Jinger Lake, basically the attraction is almost. But our family continued on, the road was quieter, narrow stone roads hidden under the shade of trees on both sides, cooler, and the sound of gurgling water and the sound of birds hidden in the mountains and forests. The road went more and more fried, a lake appeared in front of you, there was a pavilion on the side that did not know what name, the pavilion fence had been damaged, we did not stay, along the stone wall continued forward, the eye is a rainbow color, there was a small dam. Carefully walked up to the dam, and it was happy to go to the dam, and people were much looser. The children saw the rainbow colors dancing and running happily. It was really happy! This is the last point of this trip to Xiangxi Cave. Then we continued to go forward and continue to explore the gravel valley of the road.

Leaving the cultural theme of Dazu Stone Carving and deep into the surrounding landscape makes it interesting to find that many attractions in this place are still very characteristic, very attractive to the eye, and very good scenery.

Sichuan. Mianyang. Jixian. Wolongshan Thousand Buddhas Rock Grottoes. The small state-guaranteed unit grottoes in Sichuan Province in the Tang Dynasty, there are 3 grottoes, more than 40 Buddhas, and 368 Buddha statues of size. Except for 1, which is carved at the end of the Ming Dynasty, the rest are carved in Tang Zhenguan eight years (634), because of the original statue 1189, so called Qianfo Rock. Grottoes fully reflect the superb level of statue art in the early Tang Dynasty. Especially the Amitabha and the 52nd Bodhisattva are the earliest in the middle ages of similar subjects, very precious. #Small Discovery Society
