The remains of Yoshidaya kiln (nationally designated historic site) are open to the public as they are excavated. Inside the facility, there is the oldest existing climbing kiln (Cultural Property designated by Kaga City) as Kutani ware made in 1945, and an old private house (Cultural Property designated by Kaga City) used as a residence and workshop of Kutani ware kiln. It is currently used as an exhibition building. I was overwhelmed by the size of the climbing kiln. I think it's worth a look. There is an experience course in the exhibition hall, a tour course, and a souvenir of Kutani ware adjacent to it, so I bought only souvenirs from Ochawan and Kyusu due to time constraints. I love it with high quality for the price.
