Catedral de Ica or St. Jerome Cathedral is located adjacent the Plaza de Armas (Main Square) in central Ica. It was constructed in the 18th century and renovated after the 2007 earthquake.
The Catedral de Ica sits in the center of Ica on their Plaza de Armas, accented by palm trees . . . in the middle of niwhere! The Catedral is one of those large/small stone structures. Heaven knows...
The cathedral is closed because it is very damaged by the 2007 earthquake. It is supposed to be rebuild, some huge billboards announced it, but nothing is done. So you can only see it from outside
Worth paying a visit if in Ica
The Cathedral is nice, eventhough not specially impressive. If you are around, I would just pay it a visit.

Sad, that's it's still not repaired after the 2007 earthquake
Not much to see from the street, other than noting how it was damaged by the earthquake. A fence surrounded it.
