Three-Day Free Itinerary: Ultimate Anhui Guide
Anhui Province is renowned for its rich natural landscapes and profound cultural heritage, and three days is enough to let you appreciate its essence. Here is a meticulously planned three-day travel guide for Anhui.
🌟 Day One: City Tour of Hefei 🚗
Arrive in Hefei in the morning and first visit to experience the charm of Hui-style gardens. 🌿 The park contains historical sites such as Bao's Temple and Bao's Well, don't forget to take photos as souvenirs! 📸
For lunch, head to to taste authentic Hefei snacks, 🍜 such as Sanhe rice dumplings and Wushan tribute goose. A time-honored brand is recommended, where the stinky mandarin fish will definitely satisfy your cravings! 🐟
In the afternoon, proceed to , which is a concentrated display of Anhui's Hui-style architectural art. 🏯 It's quaint and seems to transport you back to the Ming and Qing dynasties.
In the evening, you can stroll around , which gathers various fashionable restaurants and cafes, very suitable for young people to hang out. 🍹
🌟 Day Two: One-Day Trip to Huangshan 🏔️
Set off early in the morning for Huangshan, with a journey of about 3 hours. 🚌 The beauty of Huangshan cannot be fully described unless experienced in person, 🌄 with its peculiar pines, strange rocks, sea of clouds, and hot springs, each aspect is breathtaking.
Have lunch at a restaurant on the mountain, is recommended for its authentic taste of Hui cuisine and nice environment. 🍲
Continue to tour Huangshan in the afternoon, and don't miss the magnificent views of Bright Summit and the West Sea Grand Canyon. 🌄
Descend the mountain in the evening and return to Hefei.
🌟 Day Three: Tour of Hongcun & Xidi Ancient Villages 🏡
After breakfast, drive to Hongcun, with a journey of about 2.5 hours. 🚗 Hongcun is known for its unique Hui-style architecture and beautiful natural scenery, hailed as 'a village in a Chinese painting'. 🌾
For lunch, dine near in Hongcun, where there is a restaurant called , which serves very authentic Hui cuisine. 🍛
In the afternoon, head to Xidi, not far from Hongcun. The ancient residences in Xidi are well-preserved and are a great place to learn about the culture of Hui merchants. 🏠
Afterward, return to Hefei, concluding a pleasant three-day journey. 🏁
💡 Tips:
- The weather in Anhui can change drastically, so please check the weather forecast before traveling and carry suitable clothing.
- The prices for food and beverages in the Huangshan scenic area are relatively high, so it's advisable to bring some dry food and water.
- If time permits, consider staying overnight in Hongcun or Xidi to experience the tranquil night in the ancient villages.

Bringing my family to Huangshan, witnessing the beauty of Huangshan firsthand, is better than expected, whether beautiful or majestic, it exceeds expectations. Only by coming to the scene can you better understand the washing of the beautiful scenery of the mountains!
Entering the scenic spot at 8 o'clock in the morning, the most crowded time period, in January, the ropeway queue is more than half an hour. The night before the snow, when the mountain went up, the snow in Huangshan was beautiful! I stayed in the light for one night, the next day was sunny, the sunrise and the sea of clouds, the colorful glow, and I will not forget it for a lifetime!
The scenery is excellent, beautiful and worthy of fame. In addition, the scenic service is relatively standardized. But it is necessary to pay attention to a point, even if you take the cable car to the mountain, you have to walk countless steps, and there are not many flat roads to go. Because Huangshan basically does not have a flat plank road around the mountain, most of them are steps. Climbing Huangshan is really "climbing", and the physical strength is not good. It is not recommended to go more. Although I have a good view on this trip, I have continued pain in the knee joint for many days after going down the mountain, and I need to cooperate with medical physiotherapy for rehabilitation.
The Huangshan tour that I was thinking about finally came to a trip. This time it was free. The time was 3.18-3.24. From Fuzhou → Wangxiangu → Sanqingshan → Wuyuan → Huangshan → Hongcun, arrange a week to play. Huangshan combines a variety of wonders: the beauty of sunrise and sunset, the danger of Lotus Peak, the wonder of the Xihai Grand Canyon, Guangmingding's Jun and so on. You can only experience it yourself, can't be overstated, and look forward to seeing a snow scene in winter. A great trip 👍👍🌹🌹🌸🌸🌺🌺🌈🌈🏞️🏞️
On Monday, April 15, the temperature was 20 degrees clear. It departed from Huangshan North Station at 6:30. It had arrived at the top of Bai'eling at 8 o'clock. The Jingjiao car and Yungu cableway were not lined up. Shiqi, Shixin Peak, Black Tiger Pine, Umbrella Pine, Dream Pen Flower, Cooling Terrace, Monkey Watching the Sea, Unity Song, Paiyun Pavilion, and the West Sea Grand Canyon are about one ring. Back to Paiyun Pavilion to fly to the stone, Guangmingding, Haixin Pavilion, Bayu Peak Baibu Yunti, Lotus Peak, Welcome Pine, Tiandu Peak, at 3:30 pm, left Yuping cableway, no queue, around 4 o'clock to the transfer center, down the mountain view delivery car is not queued, Lotus and Tian are not open, all attractions have gone, The whole mountain was 7 and a half hours, and the whole journey was easy and 25,000 steps. Huangshan is really beautiful, the sea of clouds, strange stones, famous pine, Junfeng, canyon, clear sky, bamboo sea, lilies full of mountains, squirrels, monkeys, birds, really Huangshan returns without watching the mountains, without watching the sunrise and sunset, really don’t have to live on more than 1,000 mountains. No problem with a day trip,
Wuyue returns without seeing the mountains, Huangshan returns without seeing the mountains, Huangshan is really worth a trip, especially in company, but unfortunately did not climb the Tiandu Peak, there are too many people, must do a good job in advance.
Huangshan half-day tour the strongest strategy! The whole journey does not take the cable car! Friends who want to go to Huangshan hiking pay attention! I vomited blood and sorted out the guides and routes of Huangshan hiking. This note is mainly for the extreme special forces guides prepared by friends with better physical skills. Other friends can refer to the route. Tips: Huangshan is divided into Qianshan and Houshan. Because the Lotus Peak and Tiandu Peak are not open, in fact, the monkeys who have a better view of the sea and Shixin Peak are all in the Houshan. So you can also go from the Houshan. Must-go attractions: welcome pine, 100 steps of clouds, Xihai Grand Canyon, Guangmingding, monkey viewing the sea, Shixinfeng. Personally think that the scenery of Xihai Grand Canyon, Shixinfeng, monkey viewing the sea is the most beautiful! You can see the sea of clouds in the section of Baibu Yunti! Route: Front Mountain: Ciguang Pavilion-Banshan Temple-Welcome Song-Baibu Yunti-First Line Tian-Eel Peak-Guangmingding-Feilaishi-Paiyunting-Xihai Grand Canyon (Ring Line)-Tianhai-Guangmingding (Watching the Sunset)-Monkey Watching the Sea-Shixin Peak-Yungu Temple. If you are from the back mountain, the route above can be reversed. The whole journey takes about 9-10h, and the mileage is about 25km. It should be noted that if you want to walk to the Xihai Grand Canyon, it is best to walk from Paiyun Pavilion. The scenery here is the best, and the distance is relatively gentle. It took about 30 minutes from Paiyun Pavilion to the bottom of the valley. General people, 1-1.5h should be able to arrive. Time: I started to go up from Ciguangge cable car at noon, arrived at Yingke Song at 14.20, and arrived at Guangmingding around 3.20. After the Guangmingding rest, I went from Guangmingding at 4 o'clock.
