What travelers say:

There is a pretty city waterfall in the small town of Henafoss, Henafoss, Norway. If you pass by, it is worth stopping to see and take pictures. In 1976, Hnefoss Sparebank presented a gift to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the town. The sculptor Knut Stein created a magnificent sculpture with the function of a fountain. The theme is an ancient "rise saw," symbolizing the powerful Hnefossen and sawmills that created the town. The artwork was first placed next to the City Bridge in 1978, but it didn’t play its part there because “it was so close, so big that no one really saw the sculpture.” The fountain effect didn’t play its part. A breeze blows and everyone in the sidewalk and nearby gets wet. The sidewalk can be slippery and dangerous. A few years later, someone expressed a desire to move the sculpture into the waterfall.
