The view from the top is the best.

Arrived at Nishikinsago Shrine. I climbed the stairs to the hall of worship. Then I climbed the stone steps to the main shrine. I climbed a lot of mountain roads to the main shrine. I will climb quite a bit. The main shrine is on the top of the mountain and the scenery is the best. The deities are Omiki no Mikoto, Kunitsune no Mikoto and Shohikona no Mikoto. It is said that in 806, a Tendai monk, Hoju Shonin, built a shrine and set up an altar to solicit and worship the spirits of Hiyoshi Shrine on Mt. Hiei in Omi province.
I went with a couple of mature friends. If you drive up the steep mountain road for about 10 minutes, you will find a shrine, and from there you will find a steep staircase for about 20 minutes, and there is a main shrine and a viewing platform at the top of the mountain. It was a warm day with sunny days, so I was saved because my feet did not slip. The smartphone pedometer indicated that it would go up to the 14th floor. On the way back, I ate delicious tempura soba at Kanesan. It was fun.
The purpose of the grand festival held every 73rd year and the small festival held once every 7 years is to pray for the peace of the world, the harvest of five grains, and the ritual of the people. The first session started in 851 AD and the 17th session was executed in 2003.
