Original Text
It is a small park overlooking Nakaenoshima, a hill in the southeast of Ikugetsu Island. It is said that it is the place where Gaspar Nishi Genka, the leader of Ikugetsu Christians, was martyred in 14th year of Keicho. In 1991, a cross-shaped "Kurose Tsuji Martyrdom Monument" was built by Catholics.
this is the monument of ms. gaspal who resisted the oppression of the Christians and martyred.

Do you know "Cruz Hill Park"? It seems that it is also called "Martyrdom Gaspar-sama". Gaspar is the name of Genka Nishi, an official of the Hirado feudal lord and a Christian believer, who resisted the suppression of the feudal lord's Christianity and martyred. The location is further north of the 42 line from the "Yamada Catholic Church". There were few people, but there was a magnificent monument.
It is a place where it is said to be a martyrdom of Christian Nishi Genka (baptism name gaspal) on the hill overlooking Nakae no Shima (World Heritage site registered assets) from ikutsuki island by car about 40 minutes from Hirado city. The cross and stone monument that look up to heaven are impressive. Those who have been banned and stick to their beliefs without abandoning their faith in the severe repression 々 will be heartwarming. Christian related assets in Nagasaki and Amakusa are registered as UNESCO's World Heritage sites, and many people visit Xu 々 here in Hirado. ...
In the 16th century, there were many Christians in this place, and it seems that this place was called 'Crus'. However, since the prohibition Ordinance was issued, there was a place where father gaspal was martyred here, and there was a place named 'gaspal' nearby. It is probably also a sacred place for the hidden Christians of the birth moon.
It is located next to the graveyard in a narrow alley. It is a small park (feeling like a vacant lot) right in front of the monument. I visited on a rainy day, so it was a dark image with no one there.

Maybe it's sunny.
