When I went up from the approach to Nishizaka, it ended up as a downhill, and Mani-den stood as if looking up in front. It was possible to enter the hall by going up a steep stone steps to the main hall of Enkyoji Temple. On the day of worship, the hall was full because it was Setsubun's bean-sown day. By the way, Free WiFi was flying and I felt like a big temple. Also, there was a sticker of TripAdvisor on the Sutra office.
I worshiped in accordance with the special opening book of "Maniden Mysterious Buddha Nyoirin Kannon Statue". You can freely see the Maniden itself, but the admission fee of 500 yen was required for the special opening book. The actual Nyoirin Kannon statue is a Buddha statue much smaller than I imagined, and this is the second opening book, and I am grateful that there is no plan to open the book in the future. By the way, it was free to take pictures, and many visitors were taking pictures.
Maniden was the main hall of Enkyoji Temple. It was an architecture that looked up from the place where the temple monument stood, and it was re-recognized as a large temple on the mountain. This time, I climbed on foot as a hike, so there were no worshipers in front of the gate, but the appearance that seemed to be a local hiker stood out.
Until July 1, 2023 ~ September 30, I visited in accordance with the special release of "Nyoirin Kannon Statue" at [Maniden] (see attached photo). I'm going to notice that [Maniden] is similar to [Kiyomizu-dera (Kyoto)], but if you go to the inner camp where the "Nyoirin Kannon Statue" is enshrined, you can see the ceiling. Recommend, Beautiful ceiling paintings (see attached photo) are drawn. Also, the specially released "Nyoirin Kannon Statue" can be appreciated up close ...
As soon as you climb the stairs in front of Yuyabashi, you will find the Maniden building. When I took off my shoes and went up, the wind in the aisle on the city side was comfortable and I was able to sit for a while and take a break. The huge wooden building on the mountain is stunning.
