The station of Tenryu Hamanako Railway and the classic station building are very nice. When it was the NHK Taiga drama Naotora, the station was also decorated in Naotora color because it was the nearest station to the drama hall. Kiga Station of Tenryu Hamanako Railway still has a station building bookstore and platform built at the time of the opening of the Futamata Line in Showa １３. Usually, when you get off the train at an unmanned station, you can settle in the car before getting off, but if you get off in the direction of the bookstore, you can walk to the old Kigajuku. There are many historical places and it is very convenient for a walk. As soon as you cross the railroad crossing to the Hamamatsu Kita Ward Office, you can also go to Kiga Sekisho within １０ minutes.
