Hamasaki Town, an important preservation district of traditional buildings.
Original Text
Hamasaki Town is registered as an important traditional building preservation district "fishing port". There are also Daikansho and warehouses of senior vassals, but many merchants lived with the development of shipping. You can also see the interior of the former Yamamura family house.
It is an area a little from the riverside and is close to Higashi Hagi Station. It is an area lined with old buildings, and it is a fun place to walk. It was a little-known spot with few people, and I could take a closer look at wonderful houses such as the Yamamura family. It was a nice atmosphere with the remnants of the Hinamatsuri.
There were several merchant houses left and it was possible to visit.

It is one of the preservation areas in Hagi City, and I took a walk along with a tour of Mifunakura. It was an area where a merchant under Hagi Castle lived, so it was possible to visit some houses at that time.

outside the town of tsuru
It is an area a little far from the main area visited by tourists. It has an old-fashioned taste, but I felt lonely.
