It is an view near the tunnel entrance on the way from the center of Hachijojima to the Tochidachi district. Hachijo Kojima looks very beautiful. Due to the process, I couldn't see the sunset, but it's still a very spectacular landscape.

I think it is the best sunset spot on the island. Depending on the weather, you can see a wonderful sunset. It's often overlapped with the dinner time at the inn, so it's not easy to go, but you can park your car and take pictures safely because the sidewalk is wide.

I went to June 2017. It is an observatory in front of the Osaka Tunnel. There is no particularly large signboard, but there are parking spaces and some simple buildings, so you can see it. Unfortunately it wasn't dusk, but it's a spot where you can see the magnificent scenery even in the daytime.
