It's a small cemetary but a very serene one. It makes you stand still about all the sacrifices that had been made. You can sit on a bench in a little chapel and read about the history of it.
Eén grafsteen zegt: 'Private S. Gatward Age 35: 'To all the world he was one. But to us he was all the world. Wife baby and family.' Dat zegt genoeg. Ook na bijna 75 jaar.

Small, well kept and close to the centre. So many buried in a town as small as Geel. Sadly, there are cemeteries like this all over Europe.
