Tiantishan Grottoes is the representative of the early grottoes art in China. In the process of excavating Tiantishan Grottoes, a group of skilled craftsmen, sculptors and painters have been trained. After completing the Tiantishan Grottoes, with the change of the political situation and the eastward shift of the Buddhist center, Dongxia Pingcheng (now Datong, Shanxi) began a new excavation life, becoming an important technical force of Yungang Grottoes and Longmen Grottoes, and became the Buddhist leader of Northern Wei. Historical records show that in 439, the northern Wei Dynasty destroyed the northern Liang, from the Guzong family to the Pingcheng, with more than 3,000 monks. This is a very large number that reflects both the large population of Liangzhou and the prosperity of Buddhism. These 3,000 monks are actually the creators of the "Liangzhou Model", which has promoted the growing popularity of the Chongfo style in Northern Wei.

" Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring History Exhibition Hall " is located in the Crescent Spring Mingyue Pavilion. In the moon bend south of Crescent Spring, there is a group of crescent Spring temples built in the Han Dynasty and extended for more than 2,300 years, which is in a " Mountain " glyph structure, called " Mingyue Pavilion ". The whole building is majestic and antique, with halls and pavilions, scattered and carved beams and paintings, unique. The core building of Mingyue Pavilion is a four-story imitation Tangmu Pagoda with an octagonal appearance. There are corridors, arches, blue tiles covering, and the inner stairs can reach the fourth floor. The corridor is full of poems and songs of celebrities from all generations, and the plaques are combined. " Spring History Exhibition Hall ", with the title of "Memory of History", exhibition of Spring History cultural relics and photography works, including the photograph taken by the British explorer in 1907, is the earliest photo of Crescent Spring found so far. It is said that the pavilion has been around since ancient times, but has been destroyed and the building is now rebuilt in 1993.
