The Secret Forest Nature Center is not far from Fort Lauderdale Airport and is about 15 minutes drive away. The park has a large field area, but a small part of it has been developed, free of tickets. There is a butterfly island with beautiful butterflies on it, with green butterflies. There is also a museum with many biological specimens and fossils. Another walkway with different birds, crabs, the inland waterways of Fort Lauderdale, beautiful fish and beautiful homes.
