At the end of our brief trip to Eli, we arrived at the cathedral. We decided to start such an interesting trip. We know a lot about cathedrals, of course, the surrounding environment, history and so on that we didn't realize before. Our tour guide is a lady with rich information, interesting and fun. Unfortunately, we had to leave at the end of the trip because we had to leave the city. We want to stay longer and explore more, and visit octagons. So we hope to be able to come back to Erie. We talked about the trip all the way home.

Historical Marvels:Ely Cathedral, an architectural masterpiece and the city's crowning glory, stood tall as a testament to the city's rich heritage. Its awe-inspiring stained glass windows, towering spires, and intricate Gothic design left me in a state of awe. Exploring the cathedral's vast interior, I was captivated by the tranquility and serenity that permeated the sacred space. The history and stories embedded within its walls were truly awe-inspiring, offering a glimpse into the lives of those who had walked these hallowed grounds centuries ago.The city's historic charm extended beyond the cathedral. Wandering through the quaint streets lined with medieval buildings, I felt transported back in time. The Ely Museum provided a fascinating insight into the city's past, showcasing artifacts and exhibits that unraveled the stories of Ely's evolution through the ages. From the Oliver Cromwell House to the Lamb Hotel, each corner exuded a sense of history that added depth and character to the overall experience.
Beautiful cathedral that dominates the city and sounding fen land area. Tower tours are sometimes on offer to get a great view.
We visited this church when we passed by, and I don't think there is any need to come here, because it is almost an hour's drive from Cambridge itself, and there are already too many churches in Cambridge.
It is best to drive to this church, because it is far from the whole of Cambridge, the church has a long history, looks very simple on the outside, the interior is also very beautiful, it will become a market in the holidays.
This church is still a little far from Cambridge, if you don't need to come, but there are many very old sculptures inside the church, you can also look at it if you like it, the scale is OK.
