Dunhuang Folk Museum

Dunhuang Folk Museum is located in Dunhuang Crescent Spring Scenic Area. It is a Zhuangyuan-style museum that displays the customs of the northwest folk customs. The building adopts the traditional castle-style architecture of Dunhuang folk and the most popular courtyard form of Dunhuang residential buildings. It reflects the life style of the people on the Silk Road.

After visiting Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring, don't miss Dunhuang Folk Museum. When you go out from the scenic spot to the gate of the scenic spot, the museum is on its left hand side, which is a courtyard with a northwest wind. It is free and no additional tickets are required. The courtyard is not particularly large, the gate is painted with colored gate gods, and other doors are hung with a couplet. The house is more arranged and displayed according to local customs and habits, showing various daily necessities, and displaying folk customs such as marriage.

It is still a very good place inside. Its folk museum can see the local residents, especially some special customs that are mixed with this Han and ethnic minorities, but overall it feels that the folk customs are relatively simple.
