AllTrails rates this as the best hike in Iowa, and it lived up to the ranking. I did 3 great hikes in Iowa but this was my favorite. The park opens at 7:00 AM and I was there to begin my Monday. Wh...
Nice little park
We enjoyed walking our dogs at this park. The trails are very muddy right now but that’s to be expected. It is a very clean park and an easy hike.

This park is south of Des Moines on 63rd. There is a walking path that goes by a very small waterfall.
Lots of Birds, Trees and peace!
Ask for specific directions or you will mix it completely. Its a tricky place to find. Once you find it... Enjoy the beauty of the woods, the river, the paths, and peace.
