Dartmoor National Park

Dartmoor National Park is located in Devon, southwest England, and is one of the 15 national parks in the United Kingdom. It has been a charming place since time immemorial, with exposed granite standing on the barren horizon, foals and sheep pacing leisurely, and the scenery is as beautiful as a postcard. Dartmoor was the filming location for Steven Spielberg's World War I feature film War Horse and also inspired Conan Doyle's The Hound of the Baskervilles. If you love the outdoors, the 730km of public trails here are great for hiking, biking and horseback riding. There are pubs, restaurants, campsites and manor hotels in the park, allowing visitors to fully experience the beauty of nature.
