Beautiful View of the Town and the Lake
While much of Minnesota is flat, the arrowhead region of the North Shore actually has a beautiful rolling landscape of low mountains. The one that overlooks the harbor of Grand Marais is Pincushion M...
Hiking or Biking trails, but it is difficult to tell which trail you are on.
I had never heard of this place before, even though I have driven along the Gunflint Trail several times and one can even see the mountain from downtown Grand Marais. It dominates the western skyline....
Early Sunday Walk
Started walk with the Superior Hiking Trail, then was going to take the part of the Pincushion system back- but it was pretty boring so I went through the brush to get back on the SHT. Highly recommen...
Beautiful trails and views!
We only had a short amount of time, so didn't do the entire loop, but the trail was well maintained and relatively easy walking. Looking forward to returning!
Never found the trail
Never found the trail. We were from out of state and didn't know that the Superior Hiking Trail signs were tiny. So, note to self, if you don't see a sign, back track.
