Great Beach
Very nice beach and great weather for July 2022. There was a lot of seaweed which was unusual per the lifeguard. Snack bar had great food and there was portable restrooms.
We arrived to the beach early (9am) and had no problem parking. Since we got there so early the tide had not come in yet and we saw crabs running on the sand. Once the tide came in a few hours later ...
Great place to go with kids. Shallow ocean pools for playing and sheltered areas away from the waves. However, if surfing among the waves is your thing, walk to the shoreline for fun.
This was a really nice place to swim! Lots of warm, very shallow water. Gentle waves to play in too. Tidal pools and Marsh areas to paddle board, kayak or explore as well. At first I didn't want to go...
Lots of sand and ocean for the big guys and tidal pools for the little guys to play in and catch crabs at low tide. It's a real old-fashioned beach with a foot bridge across the tidal creek. No amen...
