    Local history

    A lot of informations based on the Roman period when Jidova was on the first border. The place was protected by a small army - around five hundred solders.

    Interesting Piece of History

    The place is located on the road from Campulung to Pitesti, about 7-8 km from Campulung (not very much visible from the main road) and is a very interesting piece of Roman history. The castrum has bee...

    Roman Fort

    There are the ruins of a roman fort build after the conquer of Dacia. Part of it - part of the wall and a watch tower - is reconstructed. It is worth to visit to see some good engineering work
