The Archbishop's Palace is behind the Old City Hall. The whole building, with medieval works, has a history of several hundred years. The building is basically the same.
The Archbishop's Palace is located in the Archbishop's Palace Square behind the City Hall. It was built between 1778 and 1781. It was the official residence of the Archbishop of Hungary. The palace is still beautiful. There is a mirror hall in the Bishop's Palace which imitates the Palace of Versailles in France. The Mirror Hall witnessed important events in European history. Napoleon and the Holy Roman Emperor signed the Plessberg Peace Treaty here in 1805, which laid the foundation for the end of the Holy Roman Empire. On the second floor are some rare 17th century British tapestries. We only visited the palace courtyard and came out.
This religious palace is very famous, there are many cultural relics inside, and it also records major events many years ago, witnessing the occurrence of history, and is also a historical attraction.
This cathedral is so beautiful and magnificent that I like its design style very much.
