Great Visit!
The Boothbay Railway Village and museum is put together and maintained with a lot of love both for trains but also for the history of the area. Staffed with folks who will talk your ear off for hours...
Nice place to see historic trains, cars and builds from early Maine
Very interesting place. I went to ride the two-foot guage train, but there is much more to do. The train is pulled by an anthracite coal burning steam engine built in Germany in 1934 for industrial us...
We have passed by for so many years and SO GLAD we spent the time there this past Sept. We are an older couple but it brought the child out in us ! This is not to be missed in between harbor cruises...
I can give no cost as it was included in our trip cost. There was a lot to see mostly related to railroads. A major find if you are into old cars. A fantastic collection!
Doesn't seem like much till you walk around and ride the train. Awesome, huge model railroad that took 20 years to build. Must see. Classic car museum was awesome too. LOT's of vehicles. Inexpens...

At long last we get to the Railway museum !!
