I believe this is more like a bus stopping area. Anyway it's free of charge to move around. Understand that one can actually rent a onsen hut to enjoy.

Good to see how 'spa salt' is harvested in this set up. The whole place smelled of sulfur and we could see how the 'sulfur salt' was growing from the little huts.

A facility for taking bath salt hot spring flowers. There are several in Meiji Onsen, and you can see the inside at the hot spring facility Yunosato and Meiji Hell. The traditional manufacturing method from the Edo period is still inherited.
