Summer and fall are good times to come here to enjoy the views of the mountains and the valleys. This is a splendid part of the Appalachian Trail area.
Difficult to locate but worth it!
A week marked hiking and biking system 5200 ft up! It’s difficult to find because gps will take you to the visitor center. If you’re coming from banner elk, you need to drive beyond the ski resort ...

The trails are well maintained and the scenery is beautiful! We saw many deer and a variety of plant life. The trails are well marked and maps are located throughout.
