Located in the heart of Bayreuth, the Hermit Palace is a beautiful European classical garden. The Hermit Palace is composed of old palaces, new palaces and hidden gardens. The old palace features a combination of rococo ornate and monastic monotony, while the new palace in the shape of horseshoes is most prominently the temple of the sun, with a gold-plated Apollo statue at the top. The garden of the hidden palace is a large and magnificent garden, and it is a good choice to hang out in the summer.

The Eremitage includes the old palace, the new palace and the garden of the hidden palace. The old palace was a gift from Wilhelmina’s husband in 1735 and is also the couple’s resort, with rooms combining the gorgeousness of Rococo and the monotony of the monastery. The most obvious sign of the new palace in the shape of horseshoes is the Temple of the Sun, with a gilded Apollo statue at its top. The garden of the Hidden Palace is a large and magnificent garden.
