beautiful church
Walked around the outside, the church was open. Inside it smelled "holy", the smell of incense. Above the entrance a large organ. you can sit here and have a peaceful rest and time to reflect.

This Romantic cathedral is located next to the ancient wall of Angulem and is the successor of several temples that existed before it in the same location.

Part of the Church was covered as its under repair. Inside not much too see as most of the time in France.

The building is a monumental building on the foundations of an ancient Roman church. The work of Paul Abadie in the 19th century has little charm.
