As a dues paying member of the Gettysburg Foundation I was disappointed to learn there is no history to be learned here. I thought I would see what the station looked like at the time of the Civil War...

Walk in great footsteps

Must go see this historic station! Abraham Lincoln walked these very streets. He rode the rails! Very chilling to be here where this man once was.

elegant example of a train station from that time period which of course is where Lincoln stepped off his train prior to going to the future Gettysburg National Cemetery.

Cool stop!

Limited visit due to pandemic. But can you just imagine Lincoln arriving!? Worth a drive-by at very least. Well-maintained.
