This is my second visit to the Stone Forest after more than 20 years. Like all scenic areas, the entrance is quite far now, so a sightseeing bus is necessary. It's a unique scenic area, a World Geological Heritage site, and requires imagination. Two hours is enough for a casual visit.
There are too few signs in the Dashilin Scenic Area, making it easy to get lost. More signs are recommended. Overall, the scenery is beautiful and worth a visit. There are plenty of electric carts available, making transportation convenient.

Absolutely stunning! The most beautiful botanical garden I've ever visited. Perfect for taking amazing photos. We drove there because it was great with both adults and children; parking was plentiful, and there's a shuttle bus after entering. It's a great place to explore without getting tired. The only downside was that it was difficult to hire an official guide, so we politely listened in on other people's tours. I feel that a guided tour would definitely make the experience much more rewarding.
The botanical garden's trees, flowers, and many medicinal herbs are worth admiring. I especially liked the exotic flower garden and the flower garden; the bright blossoms against the blue sky and white clouds made for amazing photos. There are also hot air balloons to experience. The botanical garden is 70 kilometers from the city center, so remember to book a car or hire a private vehicle. If you prefer walking, don't take the sightseeing bus; the whole experience should take about 4 hours. If you don't want to walk, take the sightseeing bus; it costs 80 yuan per person and takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes. I recommend buying the West Zone ticket. Visiting the Dai Ethnic Garden in the afternoon to catch the Water Splashing Festival at 3:40 PM is perfect.

The scenic area is about a 30-minute drive from the city center. It boasts well-developed facilities, including electric shuttle buses, making transportation convenient. The Dai Queen is very beautiful. Prices within the scenic area are reasonable. It is recommended to visit during off-peak hours.
I visited in early December, and it wasn't too crowded. The park was beautiful, and every corner was photogenic! 👍 There's a parrot enclosure, as well as alpacas and Kapubala Nenggi (a type of Tibetan antelope). Getting up close and personal with them was so cute! 👍

The cable car ride at Xishan Scenic Area isn't long, but the scenery is amazing! Half of the journey offers views of the shimmering Dianchi Lake, while the other half showcases the vibrant autumn colors of Xishan Mountain—a picturesque view that electric carts simply can't match! Definitely worth experiencing!
It's beautiful, don't take the cable car unless you just want to experience it. Xishan District is very large, just go to Haigeng Park and the Seven-Arch Floating Bridge. You can visit these two attractions on two separate trips.

This is a very nice guesthouse. The lobby is spacious, bright, and elegant, and the rooms are clean and tidy. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, you can see the distinctive architecture of the Dongfengyun Scenic Area. The owner's wine is also quite good; you can enjoy wine or tea in the lobby at your leisure. Although the breakfast selection is limited, it is delicious and very hygienic. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Mile.
Why is the service and value for money so poor? It's because while the attraction itself is incredibly beautiful, the service is practically nonexistent. Tickets are expensive, and many services and facilities inside require additional fees, even parking. After this trip to Yunnan, I truly feel that Yunnan's tourism system, including its leaders, has completely lost its way. God has been so kind to you, bestowing upon you so many wonderful scenic spots and landscapes, yet you've managed to ruin them.

Cangshan Mountain, a must-see in Dali... Snow on Cangshan Mountain, moon over Erhai Lake—the words themselves exude romance. This time I was lucky; the Ximatan cable car was open for the entire journey, reaching the summit (sometimes it's windy and only runs halfway, not to the top). ... ... ... ... ... Seeing is believing; Cangshan Mountain is definitely worth a visit.
This combined ticket is a great deal, much cheaper than buying individual tickets. Since it was my first time in Dali, these two places were a must-see, and they're not far from each other. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't cooperating when I went up Cangshan Mountain, but it cleared up when I came down to see the Three Pagodas. The Three Pagodas have a very long history and are definitely worth visiting.

The park is large and the scenery is beautiful. We hired a guide to help you understand the customs of the ethnic minorities, which was very interesting. It's suitable for both adults and children. The NPCs from different ethnic groups in the park are very dedicated and sing amazingly! 👍🏻
The ethnic village is relatively close to the Haigeng Dam, and there weren't many tourists. The experience was decent. It houses about 25 ethnic groups, and I heard that the five ethnic groups at the entrance put on dance performances and other activities in the evenings.

I'm very satisfied with the flights and hotels booked by your company. I recommend the Naga S Hotel; it's so comfortable, with a great environment, excellent service, and a delicious breakfast. Most importantly, it's conveniently located within the scenic area.
Getting to the Dai Ethnic Garden is very convenient! At the Peacock Garden, enjoy the peacock dance performed by Dai girls, visit the White Pagoda Temple and Golden Pagoda Temple, see the Dai stilted houses, and try the lemongrass-grilled fish. Young people can participate in the water-splashing activities at the Water Splashing Square for a refreshing blessing.
