It's so-so, overly commercialized. The largest area is for cultural and creative products, but the signage is poor. There's no traditional Chinese style at all. Only the river view from the pavilion is worth seeing; it truly gives you a sense of the water and sky merging into one.
Although everyone says the 50 yuan price tag is bad value for money, it's something I learned about in elementary school, so I figured I should at least check it out. The riverside view is quite nice, though it gets very crowded, and climbing up is really tiring.

This visit only opened the Mawangdui section of the museum. I was amazed by the craftsmanship and wisdom of the ancients: the 49g-thin outer gauze garment, the lacquerware, the artifacts—the most impressive of all was the coffin of Lady Xin Zhui, the main subject of the museum, with its exquisite and luxurious layers, the outer coffin being magnificent and solemn. The guide provided detailed explanations and took excellent care of me, making it a truly enjoyable visit. 👍
A fantastic museum with exquisite exhibits, especially the Mawangdui Han Tombs. Most visitors seem to come specifically for this. Reservations are required, but it seems you can also make on-site reservations; I'm not sure. However, those with reservations can use the fast track and enter very quickly. It's very crowded, and photography is not allowed at Mawangdui.

The location is excellent, making it convenient for sightseeing. It's also very quiet at night, with no noise from downstairs. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the staff are very friendly. Overall, a great experience!
Orange Isle is a famous scenic spot in Changsha, known for its Mao Zedong Youth Statue and the Xiangjiang River scenery. This was our first stop in Changsha, accompanying my elderly relatives. We bought night cruise tickets and a mini-train in advance through Ctrip. We took Metro Line 2 to Orange Isle, then transferred to the mini-train to take photos at the head of the isle. We arrived at the pier half an hour early to board the cruise. The entire trip took 70 minutes, and the Xiangjiang River light show was fantastic! 👍

Mount Lu is a famous scenic area and is definitely worth visiting. The Three-Tiered Spring, Five Old Men Peak, the site of the Lushan Conference, Meilu Villa, Fairy Cave, Little Heavenly Pool, Hanpokou, Ruqin Lake, and the Botanical Garden are all excellent attractions.
This is my second visit to Lushan. The service here is excellent. After landing, I took the airport bus to the South Gate of Lushan, and then the scenic area shuttle bus up the mountain. I stayed on the mountain for two nights, and the hotel owner picked me up and dropped me off. I always take the scenic bus when I travel; it's very convenient, and the price is quite reasonable. All famous mountains are managed this way. Taking the shuttle bus is safe, avoids traffic jams caused by private cars, and is very convenient. The service is very warm and welcoming. Lushan has a long history, and many famous people have visited, leaving behind many poems and photos. Touring the attractions by looking at the photos was enjoyable and educational.

Very pretty pavilion to visit and see the Xiang River.Everything was in Chinese though, so google translate is a must if can’t read Chinese.Definitely worth a visit if walking along the river.
The cultural atmosphere is rich, and the surrounding scenery is beautiful. During the day, you can overlook the Xiangjiang River and Yuelu Mountain. In the evening, you can enjoy the golden sunset. At night, you can admire the magnificent lights of the surrounding city's high-rise buildings and the Xiangjiang Bridge across the river in the distance. It is truly breathtaking.

When visiting Hunan, Yueyang Tower is definitely worth a visit. Yueyang Tower is breathtaking! Standing on it, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Dongting Lake! The scenic area has a beautiful environment, and the staff are very friendly!
I visited Yueyang Tower several decades ago when I was in college. Now retired, I returned this spring and recited, "It embraces distant mountains, swallows the Yangtze River, vast and boundless," which was still very pleasant. Senior citizen tickets have improved the cost-effectiveness of sightseeing for seniors!

This was my first time visiting Wugong Mountain. The scenery along the way was beautiful, with dense forests in the first section and alpine meadows in the second. Although it was tiring to climb all the way to the Golden Summit, it was well worth the trip.
Wugong Mountain is definitely a scenic spot worth visiting. Even in winter, it was truly beautiful. I read many travel guides, and no one mentioned how tiring the hike was. It took me a little over three hours to hike from Jinxin Bridge to the top, which was quite exhausting. I stayed overnight on the mountain. It was very windy and extremely cold, but I did see both the sunset and sunrise.

The drive from the museum to Nanchang takes about an hour, and parking is readily available. The ticket price is 75 yuan, including the electric cart fee. Personally, I think it's best to hire a guide to better understand the origin and historical background of each artifact. The first exhibition hall details Liu He's relationships and the historical context of his time. The hall features a large number of gold artifacts, which are quite impressive. The bronzes are exquisite, especially some of the tableware. The lacquerware exhibition upstairs mostly contains replicas.

Absolutely beautiful! You could easily spend a whole day there if you have plenty of time. We spent most of the day there, and the scenery exceeded our expectations. It has the features of the Grand Canyon in the United States, as well as unique Danxia landforms. There are also many facilities, and the greenery is particularly beautiful. When we first got off the bus, we thought we were in Palm City, USA. The lawns were also very nice, and the water was clear. Highly recommended!
This is one of the components of China's Danxia landform, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, and belongs to the mature stage of Danxia formations. To be honest, Danxia landforms really rely on sunlight to enhance their color, so I recommend choosing a sunny day ☀️ to see it!

This was the final leg of my Hunan trip, and the scenery was quite beautiful. The classic route was temporarily closed for road construction, so I entered from Bailongtan instead. I thought it would be easy, but after finishing, I realized I'm not young anymore. If I had known, I would have just taken a bus to Nantianmen. Although the entire hike was fraught with difficulties, my belief remained strong, and I finally reached the summit of Zhurong Peak! The biggest takeaway from this trip to Hengshan Mountain is that "as long as you persevere, you will eventually overcome yourself and achieve your dreams!" The view from the summit was absolutely breathtaking!
Mount Heng, one of the Three Mountains and Five Sacred Mountains in the south, is a must-climb. It's so beautiful, and you can even see a sea of clouds. It's tiring but joyful. There are many temples along the way, so you can visit them as you walk.
