The Arena of Nimes is a two-story open-air building with an oval structure, a typical ancient Roman arena design style. The center of the interior is the core venue for athletic competitions, which is also a relatively large area surrounded by seats.

Nimes is a place that perfectly preserves many ancient Roman relics. The Nimes Arena is one of them. It is also the most complete of the few remaining arenas in the world, with a history of nearly 2,000 years. The arena is still usable and has a removable roof and heating system.

The Colosseum was built in the 1st century AD and was originally used for competitions, but today it has become a theater. The Colosseum is 21 meters high and has 2,400 seats.
