Besides the ice slides, these hidden attractions at the Ice and Snow World are even more amazing! As a local who's been to the Ice and Snow World countless times, I have a love-hate relationship with it! I love its dreamlike and breathtaking scenery ❄️, but I hate that every year I willingly empty my wallet and freeze like an "ice pop" 🤣. Here's a heartfelt review for you: 📍 Location and Transportation Take Metro Line 2 directly to "Ice and Snow World Station" 🚇, it's right outside the station! But be aware of the long taxi lines after the event; it's recommended to take the free shuttle bus or the smart rail line. 🏰 Facilities and Services This year, the attention to detail is top-notch! All ice steps are covered with non-slip mats, greatly increasing safety ⛑️. The park has added a 5000㎡ "Ice and Snow Warm Castle" for free heating, and there are also women-only restrooms, which is very thoughtful. ✨ Highlights and Features Three must-see attractions: 1. 521-meter super ice slide: The king of speed and passion! 1. **Enter the park in the morning and head straight in; afternoon queues will easily exceed 1.5 hours ⏳.** 2. **Snowflake Ferris Wheel:** 🎡 Highly recommend riding it after the lights come on in the evening for a breathtaking panoramic view of the illuminated ice city – pure romance! 3. **Snow Disco:** Get hyped with the "Left and Right Brothers" at night – the atmosphere is super exciting 🔥! 💰 **Value for Money:** Adult ticket 328 RMB. Expensive, but considering you get to experience the largest ice sculpture group ever, the giant slide, the Ferris wheel, and countless free attractions, it's worth a full day. 🚨 **Avoidance Guide (Painful Lessons Learned):** 1. **Avoid Peak Times:** Go on a weekday and enter before 11 AM! 2. **Clothing is Key:** Wear your thickest clothes! 🧤 Non-slip snow boots, touchscreen gloves, and hand warmers (for your body and phone 📱) are essential. 3. **Bring Your Own Hot Water:** Food and beverage options in the park have a premium; bring a thermos with hot water. 🎯 Overall Experience This is a winter wonderland built with magic 🏰, a unique experience, but be prepared to stay warm and wait in line! There's room for improvement in the food options and guidance on staying warm in extreme weather.
It's not a very big place, to be honest. In the summer, there's not much to do; the indoor ice and snow park is quite small. However, the emotional experience is amazing. Everyone in Harbin is very warm and friendly, making you feel truly at home, so I was very satisfied. Also, the candied hawthorns sold inside are different from what I usually eat. The fruit inside is rock hard, genuinely frozen, unlike the candied hawthorns we have here, which are just fruit coated in sugar. And they were very cheap; a large skewer only cost me about ten yuan.

The thrill ride was definitely fun! You could personally feed the tigers 🐯. When you climbed onto the feeding area, everyone on the bus gasped and snapped photos non-stop. The meat cost 20 yuan per piece, or 5 yuan for a bucket; you could return any uneaten meat. The only downside was that the park was quite small. It only offered the thrill ride 🚗 feeding area and a walking area to see the captive tigers and bears. Don't rush; a complete loop should take about an hour and fifteen minutes.
Climbing the Yellow Crane Tower was definitely worth the trip! This "world's most beautiful sight" truly lived up to its name. The classical architecture with its upturned eaves is magnificent, and the vermilion columns paired with glazed tiles reveal the rich cultural heritage of Hubei. Every snapshot is a masterpiece of ancient style.

Harbin Polar Park offers a variety of exciting performances, such as the beluga whale show "Heart of the Ocean," where trainers dance with beluga whales to form shapes like the "Heart of the Ocean," and in 2024, it was upgraded to incorporate traditional Chinese elements; the dolphin show combines 3D holographic projection with a surprise appearance by mischievous penguins; the sea lion and walrus stand-up comedy show is performed humorously by the "Northeast Comedy Troupe"; and the water dance show features ballet dancers and mermaids performing in the water, creating a stunning spectacle with lighting effects.
It’s excellent. You should plan to spend at least half a day here, as there are many different animal species to see. It’s recommended to come early in the morning so you can watch the penguin parade coming out to greet visitors. Inside the various buildings, there are also different shows to enjoy. It’s definitely worth a visit.

Volga Manor in winter was absolutely stunning for us southerners. The Russian-style architecture blended perfectly with the snow-covered landscape, making for incredibly photogenic photos. Definitely worth recommending.
Loved it here! First snow experience, the place was spacious with plenty to do, and the staff were very nice. Worth it! ✨💖💖💖

Zhalong Lake Scenic Area is very large, and the tickets are cheap now because it's the off-season. However, it was really too cold. The red-crowned cranes weren't afraid of people at all; they would chase after you if you had food in your hand. The release was only for a short time, and I didn't even have time to take pictures.
Before going, I read many reviews, and some people gave this scenic spot a very low rating, but after visiting, we felt it was definitely worth the money. After entering, you take a shuttle bus, and then walk to see the release of the red-crowned cranes. The walk and taking pictures only takes about half an hour, because you're walking through wetlands, which is like a lung cleanse, and you don't feel tired at all. The sight of the red-crowned cranes being released is truly breathtaking and beautiful. We encountered red-crowned cranes walking along the roadside both on the way there and back. I've never seen red-crowned cranes so close before; you can even see the little red fleshy bump on their heads very clearly.

The scenery is truly spectacular and beautiful, like stepping into an underwater fairytale world. Watching the fish swimming freely in the large aquarium area is truly relaxing, and the storytelling performances are quite entertaining. It's like Harbin Disneyland, and it's every bit as good! Highly recommended!
Poseidon Underwater Park is an absolute highlight of any trip to Harbin! The Atlantis-inspired architecture created by the Disney team is breathtaking, with its blue curtain walls resembling an underwater palace. The 368-meter underwater tunnel rafting experience is a must-try, and the sight of sharks and turtles swimming overhead is breathtaking. The mermaids' underwater ballet moves are breathtaking, and the performances at the Dolphin Arena are truly breathtaking. The Jellyfish Palace's light and shadows are a dreamlike solace, and families can even participate in interactive feeding activities. The venue offers a comfortable, controlled temperature and combines both viewing and interactive activities, truly making it Northeast China's top marine park!

The ticket is a one-ticket pass. There are many snow sports in it. The children are very happy to play. Some projects are not available in the Ice and Snow World. You can play them at the Snowman Pier. It's a bit cold, so you need to keep warm.
An artificial scenic spot with many entertainment projects. I had a lot of fun playing there for an afternoon. The fee seems a bit expensive, but it is acceptable compared to the ice entertainment projects near Sun Island and the Flood Control Memorial Tower.

Tianhengshan Ice and Snow Sports World is a large ski resort newly built in Harbin in 2018. It has very good snow quality, advanced facilities and ski equipment, and many ski trails, divided into beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Tianhengshan Ski Resort is not far from the city of Harbin and can be reached by bus. It has convenient transportation and is the best choice for ski enthusiasts.
It's much cheaper than buying a ticket in real life, which costs 30 yuan per hour. Hot water is provided for free, a box costs 20 yuan each, and there are deer. The ski slope is suitable for low-level people like me. The overall evaluation is good.

In the vast land of Northeast China, there is a small town full of exotic customs. It is like a shining pearl, exuding a unique charm that makes me yearn for it. Finally, I embarked on a journey there this summer. The moment I stepped into the town, it seemed as if I had traveled through time and space and came to distant Russia. On both sides of the street, Russian buildings of different styles came into view, domed churches, exquisite wooden houses, each of which exuded a strong Russian atmosphere. The sun shines through the gaps in the leaves and sprinkles on the ancient buildings. The light and shadow are intertwined, like a beautiful oil painting. Walking on the streets of the town, I heard melodious Russian folk songs, which were played by street artists. They were dressed in traditional Russian costumes, and the melody played by the instruments in their hands was sometimes cheerful and sometimes sad, which made people stop and indulge in it. On the street, there are many small shops selling Russian specialty products, exquisite nesting dolls, mellow vodka, and delicious borscht, each of which makes people love it. The residents of the town are warm and hospitable. They greeted me in pure Russian and invited me to taste authentic Russian food. Sitting in an open-air cafe, tasting the fragrant coffee, looking at the picturesque scenery in front of me, feeling the charm of Russian culture, my heart is full of comfort and satisfaction. This trip to the Russian-style town allowed me to appreciate the unique charm of exotic culture and made me deeply attached to this land.
There are 38 Russian-style buildings preserved here. The town is 500 meters long and integrates tourism, shopping, leisure and entertainment. Although it feels a bit desolate, it is great to experience the exotic atmosphere. The tickets are not expensive, and you can find interesting products in the small shops.

During winter, the vast majority of animals are housed indoors. The entire visit can be indoors, eliminating the need to endure the cold outdoors. The animal diversity is quite rich for a city zoo. The Siberian tigers and African lions, among other large animals, appear to be in good condition, and the indoor space is ample. The primate and bird enclosures are highlights, offering a warmer indoor environment where the animals are more active. The park's signage is clear, and the pathways between indoor enclosures are logically connected, preventing backtracking. Due to the winter season, there are fewer visitors, making the visit quiet and unobtrusive. A noticeable animal odor can be smelled in some enclosures, which is unavoidable in indoor environments; those sensitive to smells may need to be prepared. Additionally, some enclosure windows may have fog or water stains, occasionally affecting the clarity of viewing and photography. If you're visiting Qiqihar in winter and looking for a place that's not freezing and can easily fill half a day to a full day, Longsha Zoo is a safe and convenient choice.
I took my children out to play. They were a little young and were only interested in things they could touch. There were not many animals in the park that could be fed, and the food they fed was super expensive. They were not allowed to bring their own.
