Sheraton Grand Macao

I enjoyed the architecture of the building it’s in; The Londoner. Checkin took a long time, since I booked online and am not a member (members have a different line). But the staff was very friendly and kept the line running smoothly. They also didn’t allow large luggage in the line which made a big difference.
Lisboeta Macau-LINE FRIENDS PRESENTS CASA DE AMIGO
4.2/5437 Reviews
I recently stayed at the Lisboeta Macau - Line Friends presents Casa De Amigo exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and great for stay and taking photos, especially in a theme room. The staff was friendly, ensuring a comfortable stay. The hotel's amenities, including a swimming pool and local cha chaan tengs, added to the overall fantastic experience. Highly recommended!
Hotel Beverly Plaza

My mother chose this hotel as it was meant to be convenient. To be honest, this hotel is quite expensive, very dated, full of mainlanders, stunk like cigarette smoke everywhere , and needs a refurbishment to charge these prices. The staff were half half - some were very lovely and nice and others abrasive. I would recommend you don’t stay here and stay anywhere else for this price point (at least a hotel that’s recently refurbished).

The room facilities, beds, etc. are all neat and clean. There are many restaurants near the hotel, and the transportation is very convenient. Many tourists stay, and the hotel environment is quiet. Overall it was a comfortable experience and highly recommended
Billion Family Inn

The front desk named Jose was to be our “kababayan” was so kind, he lets us in earlier than their check-in time happened to be the room was ready but their normal check-in time would be @3pm. Thank you so much “Jose” for your kindness. I would highly recommended this place when it comes to their cleanliness and very accommodating employees. It is a 1 double bed room. The room was big, cleaned and very comfortable. The bathroom is so clean and pretty big. We will definitely come back here. Keep up the good work guys especially to our “kababayan”. Thank you!!!

Introduction to Macau

Macau, a Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, is a unique destination situated on the southeastern coast of China. Known as the 'Vegas of China', Macau is not only famous for its world-class casinos but also its rich Sino-Portuguese heritage, exemplified by its architecture, culture, and cuisine.

Macau has its own international airport, but many travelers also opt to fly into Hong Kong and take a high-speed ferry to Macau. The city is compact, and most attractions can be reached by foot, bus, or taxi.

Macau has its own currency, the Macau Pataca (MOP), but Hong Kong Dollars are widely accepted. The official languages are Portuguese and Chinese, but English is commonly understood in tourist areas.

Visa policies vary depending on your nationality, with many countries eligible for visa-free entry for varying periods. Always check these details before traveling.

Popular Attractions in Macau

The historic center of Macau, a UNESCO World Heritage site, showcases a mix of Chinese and Portuguese cultures. Key landmarks include the Ruins of St. Paul's, Senado Square, and the A-Ma Temple.

Macau's reputation as a gaming destination is undeniable, with the Venetian Macau being the largest casino in the world. Don't miss the Macau Tower for panoramic city views, and adventure enthusiasts can even try the world's highest commercial bungee jump.

Weather, Best Time to Visit, and What to Wear

Macau has a subtropical climate, with hot, humid summers and mild, dry winters. The temperature in Macau typically ranges from lows of around 14°C (57°F) in winter (January) to highs of about 31°C (88°F) in the summer (July).
